VEGAS TOOLBOX: Kink Built Better

Article by Vegas Toolbox Headmaster Team

If you’re going to build a house, you’ll need some basic tools. It’s the same with building your BDSM, Kink, and Fetish interests; you’ll need to know what tools you can play with. Vegas Toolbox follows the tradition of leather education by providing leather, kinky, BDSM, and lifestyle individuals with the foundational tools they need to play with others, build community, and be the most authentic versions of themselves. Fill your toolbox by attending classes, connecting through munches, or practicing the new skills you learned through a class at a play party.

What is Vegas Toolbox?

Vegas Toolbox is a group of diverse individuals of all genders, sexual orientation, and body types looking to grow their experience in leather & kink education, BDSM relationships, and sex-positive exploration through educational classes, social gatherings, parties, and play! Our purpose is to create a safe environment for all persons to explore and learn about different kinks, fetishes, and concepts in leather. The classes are geared towards building personal power, sparking curiosity about kinks and fetishes, gaining hands-on experience, and creating a community with like-minded people. Classes meet monthly on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays. Our group is a 100% volunteer-based organization, and our classes are not-for-profit. Classes are donation-based. Donations help support the rent for the space and the continuation of our educational programming. We will not turn anyone away for lack of funds. Access to quality education is our passion and our mission. We want all students to feel safe, seen, and supported through their kink journey.

Who is Vegas Toolbox For?

We welcome people whose BDSM practice is new, occasional, situational, or 24/7. It’s for anyone over the age of 18, who is interested in learning skills, getting historical background, and building community. We welcome those with an interest in SSC (Safe, Sane, Consensual), RACK (Risk, Aware, Consensual, Kink), and PRICK (Personal Responsibility, Informed, Consensual, Kink). We welcome novices, experts, and everyone in between. We welcome anyone interested in exploring the kink world who may have trepidations or previous bad first experiences. We created Vegas Toolbox to be a safe environment to learn, ask questions, practice new skills, and consent. Vegas Toolbox is a place for anyone who wants a chosen family with high regard for leather principles. Vegas Toolbox is a place that focuses on safety first when educating. Safety includes an emphasis on negotiations and informed consent for building out your risk profile when engaging in play.

What you won’t find at Vegas Toolbox?

Vegas toolbox is not a “hook up” joint or a place to find dates. We do not offer professional Dom/Dominatrix services, although we do wholeheartedly support sex workers’ rights, including their right to safety and the respect of their profession. We do not welcome students who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs during classes. We additionally advocate for safety when it comes to play, so we do not endorse the use of any substance that impacts the ability for informed and enthusiastic consent.

Looking forward, in 2024, we are looking to continue and expand our programming, helping to provide a quality education that covers all topics within the spectrum of kink lifestyle. If you or someone you know would be interested in supporting Vegas Toolbox, please email our headmaster team at vegastoolbox@gmail.com. If you are a local organization interested in cross-collaboration and we can support your group, we would love to! We recognize that the more individuals we can support with access to education, especially those that emphasize safety with edge play, will overall help improve the safety and accountability of our local BDSM community. We want to learn together, play together, support each other, and continue to grow the greater Las Vegas community.
