To Those Who Love Queerly
I’ve never had a very good grasp on love. As a queer, kinky, and neurodivergent individual from a dysfunctional family, my ideas of love - what it means, how it is shown, who it is given to - have always seemed to drift from what I was taught love should be by the people and structures around me.
High on Life
I know what you’re thinking — Las Vegas, the city of Sin — the Devil’s playground, a place where adults 21 and over can indulge in any vice, wherever they want. Open alcohol containers, cigarettes indoors, topless pool clubs… BUT publicly consuming the cannabis you purchased legally? ILLEGAL…ish.
Kink and Clink
Kink has varied interests. For starters, bondage or impact play are common kinks in BDSM, but what if I told you about a kinky community that many haven’t heard of or thought to explore? This fetish includes bondage, discipline, punishment, and even humiliation.
Buffets, Booty, and BDSM
Little did I know that when the curvaceous vixen Lady Coquine (aka PROUD & Kinky magazine editor, Jennifer) randomly followed me on Instagram, it would lead me onto one of the greatest adventures of my life thus far.
The Daring Spectacle of Abandon
In the heart of Las Vegas, where the glitz and glamour of the Strip meets the avant-garde, a peculiar and daring spectacle called "Abandon" has found its home at the Las Vegas Theatre. This immersive experience takes theatergoers on a journey into the realms of sadism, inspired by the notorious Marquis de Sade and his controversial work, "120 Days of Sodom."
Photographer Turned Pornographer— Mr. Pam
When I was about 6 years old, my dad bought our first camera. Back in the 1980’s, before smartphones and digital cameras, it was all film. For the younger kinksters out there, you literally had to go to the store, buy a roll of film, carefully put the film inside the camera, then bring the finished roll to a film developing store.
Pin-up Doll Singer Sir Queen JET Embodies “Male Femininity”
Growing up in Scottsdale, AZ, was not a happy experience for Sir Queen JET. Neither of her parents was a happy person, and their unhappiness impacted her own. “I’m an empath, so I tend to absorb the emotions of those around me,” the singer explains. “I think that deep down, there was a joy in me yearning to get out, but it was not the right time.”
From the Editor
Wishing all the kinksters in Las Vegas and beyond a Happy 2024! Looking back on 2023, PROUD & Kinky was able to accomplish some major goals. We dipped our toes into sponsoring Leather Titles for Las Vegas, and I think it has been a success to have community leaders step into these roles.
VEGAS TOOLBOX: Kink Built Better
If you’re going to build a house, you’ll need some basic tools. It’s the same with building your BDSM, Kink, and Fetish interests; you’ll need to know what tools you can play with. Vegas Toolbox follows the tradition of leather education by providing leather, kinky, BDSM, and lifestyle individuals with the foundational tools they need to play with others, build community, and be the most authentic versions of themselves.
Interview with the LVPC
The Las Vegas Puppy Coalition, also known as the LVPC, is a local kink group created by Pup Muttley. They specifically focus on pet-play and are constantly building community in the Las Vegas Valley. I am a part of the LVPC and pet-play community. Some of you might know me as “Las Vegas Pup 2023” of Proud & Kinky.
Las Vegas PRIDE Festival 2023
As the excitement mounted for the big day, it was as nice as ever to travel to Las Vegas for the incredible Las Vegas PRIDE 2023 event. On the backs of a great event last year, the Faustian Society and Sanctuary Studios were more than excited to show our wares and get down to some real BDSM Business in the Dungeon Erotica.
