For the second time, Liquid Red graced the PROUD & Kinky stage at the Las Vegas PRIDE Festival at Craig Ranch Park in October 2022. The first time was in October 2019 at the PROUD & Kinky stage. This time, Liquid Red teamed up with Wigcraft Vegas and included their spectacular foam wigs in the show. The combination of colorful oversized wigs and fabulous lingerie really made an impact on the stage at sunset. The crowd enjoyed a sassy runway show that included a diverse variety of models including trans, non-binary, plus size, cisgender, polyamorous, pansexual, POC, thin, curvy, short, tall, and disabled models of multiple ethnicities.

The bright colors of the big foam wigs with the creative, sparkly, feathery, and fierce lingerie harness pieces were a perfect combination for an exciting show. The models all worked it on the runway showing off their outfits and stage talents. DJ Baby Magik played rad tunes while the models took to the stage. Most of these models are veterans of Liquid Red’s fashion shows in Las Vegas and Detroit, including Layla Scott, Scara Darling, Zoe, Ratty, Elizabeth Aston, and Mystryss Lily. The finale included the two fashion designers, Megan of Liquid Red and Toshie of Wigcraft Vegas, walking to the end of the runway, holding hands together and waving to the crowd.

Liquid Red has been a staple of the Las Vegas kink and alternative community for the past eight years. Liquid Red is not just a fashion designer but also runs LGBTQIA-friendly kink, alternative, and cosplay events in Las Vegas every other month. www.LiquidRedlv.com. About twice a year, Liquid Red does a lingerie fashion show with their designs at their namesake events. The fashion shows are also featured at other events such as Las Vegas PRIDE, Sin City Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball, Liquid Red Kink Ball Detroit, and more.

Other features of Liquid Red Las Vegas events include burlesque shows, photo booths, fashion shows featuring a variety of designers and local stores, live alternative and rock DJs, small business vendors, belly dancers, sideshow performers, live bands, singers, kink demos and more. These events occur at Las Vegas bars such as Artifice, Artisan, and Sahara Event Center and occasionally move around to different venues.

Liquid Red’s designer and event producer, Megan, is originally from Detroit, Michigan. Before moving to Las Vegas, she was a fetish model and performer in Detroit & Los Angeles. She has taken inspiration from the many fetish shows and performances that she has attended and performed in worldwide since the age of 18. She is also a freelance graphic designer and web designer.

You can find Liquid Red at their own events and many other events in Las Vegas as well, including having a vendor booth in the PROUD & Kinky area at Las Vegas PRIDE selling harness designs, lingerie pieces for most body types, fierce & gothic accessories, jewelry, pins and more. Wigcraft Vegas is a local Las Vegas POC female designer who is also originally from Detroit, Michigan. Toshie McSwain is the designer behind the foam wigs. She expertly creates fabulous original foam wigs from colored foam. Her colorful wigs are a huge hit with drag queens and performers all over the country. The PROUD & Kinky runway show was the first fashion show she collaborated on to show off her spectacular pieces to the Las Vegas scene. She had been designing and making these unique creations for over two years. Keep an eye on this designer because her colorful foam wig designs are exploding onto the scene in Vegas and beyond!

These two female designers brought together an exceptional fashion show to the PROUD & Kinky stage at Las Vegas PRIDE in 2022 and plan on bringing back the glitz to the runway next year at PRIDE and various other events in Las Vegas in 2023 and beyond.
